I'm not even just talking about the toppings. The beef. The bun. The handling (aka the preparation that Yeezy mentioned).

I hate to burst your bubble, but it is the same. Same quality ingredients, same preparation. I know Nick pretty well. They will make a killing on game days with the food truck out there.

Oh okay then.

I guess when Curbside tagged the local butcher where they sourced their meat, they were lying. Or when they called their meat a house-ground patty, which is on their FB page, they were lying. I guess they're hand-picking off the sesame seeds because there are no seeds on their buns.. definitely seeds on Five Guys. Guess that sharp cheddar cheese was in my imagination because Five Guys uses that weird American looking thing.

You might know the guy, and that's great. But you're seriously sitting there claiming that they are LYING about their ingredients, and furthermore that no one has noticed.
Either you're completely ignorant to what the difference truly is when people talk about ingredients/handling.. or you are trolling.

ETA: And for the record, when the mood strikes, I love a pile of greasy shitty burger like Five Guys serves. Unlike some on here, I have no problem eating there, and do it from time to time. Even a cheapo lower quality burger is good to me. I had Sonic today, in fact.
But to claim they are the same makes no sense to me. Other than the fact that both use ground beef of some sort and bread of some sort.. and put them together.. in the same order...

it is a burger?
who really cares about another frat, lsu joint?
another lsu over-priced location.
no parking, poor service.
same old burger-fry-sports-frat dump.
family oriented/ why do think it is at the gates of lsu?

I'm not a drinker; I go for the burgers, fried PB&J, and the games. I bring my 6-year old with me and he has just as much fun as I do. Then again, we don't go after dark. I wouldn't go on a gameday, either.

My experiences with Curbside inside Barcadia in NOLA have been very underwhelming compared to the truck.

This was the patty I received on my last visit there. How is it acceptable to serve a burger so raw that it can't even stay together less than halfway through being eaten?

They must have mixed up Gaston's order with yours.

Gaston would have been offended at being served such an overcooked piece of meat.

Ehh curbside cooks their burgers and fries the same way as five guys. Nick can just make em how you want it. I will say it took my friend over and hour to get his burger while my chicken was out in less than 10 minutes. I like the place, but my bill ended up being over $50. College kids aren't going to spend that kind of money.

I also know nick pretty well, if you think nick spends > 10 hours a week in that kitchen then jooo crazy mayne. he has never been classically trained as a chef and runs his kitchen like a food truck. if a health inspector ever walked in the NOLA location that place would be shut down right away.

Barcadia new orleans is the definition of mehtastic and to make matters worse it is a CHAD MAGNET. considering the number of goombahs that attend LSU they will make a killing.

I'd rather go next door to roul's

I think they'll survive just fine, though.

Won't be via college kids, but then again

I have to remember to warn my son about it. He's frugal and would have a fit to spend that much on a burger, fries and beer. (Because of his budget).

Might be a cool place for me to take him when I visit.

Obvious you have not read the thread nor have you been there.

8 posts and every one of them worthless.

Man I used to love the truck when I was at LSU. Was hoping for a new food spot near my house for the days I'm not covered in beer. Y'all are beating my hopes into the dirt. I was really hoping for a different atmosphere than the "dude-bro/chadsters" I found at the Nola location. Never the less I will check it out and mind my criticisms and down a burger. Will report back on the food. (I'm going to ignore the beer in my report for obvious reasons)

The atmosphere was fine. It wasn't necessarily my scene but it certainly wasn't some douchebag central that I couldn't wait to leave.

Did they say when lunch service would start? I think someone mentioned they only had dinner food service for the time being.
