Direct TV, Cox, AT&T Uverse. Which to get?

I am moving into a new place soon and want to know what everybody prefers. I currently have Cox but have heard some good things about Uverse. Not that familiar with Direct TV. What says the OT?

UVerse.
Went from Cox to that a few months back. A little cheaper, not a whole lot cheaper. But you get so much more. I got the U300 package. All the sports channels, SEC network, tons of fox sports networks, HBO, Showtime, Starz, and Encore. Also have boxes in every room. $25/month cheaper than Cox for me.

Directv has been great for me. As a former Cox customer I would never go back to them.

Not in your area, so I don't know about Cox (Charter here and it's awful). Uverse is pretty good. I prefer DirecTV, though. Love the customer service, love the channel lineup, and especially love the Sunday Ticket.

I would say UVerse. All of my friends have it and really enjoy it, for much cheaper than I enjoy Cox.
Cox is old technology that was never forced to change because it did not have any real competition forcing Cox to be better. In walks UVerse, and Cox really has some decisions to make. , Cox. /rant
However, UVerse isn't available everywhere. At my place in Baton Rouge, no one is able to get it on my street. However, every other street around us can. At&T has a policy to not allow any sub-par service to be sold, and I guess I am located just outside of their allowable range. I guess this is a good thing for customers who have it, but a bad thing for those like me, who cannot and really want it.
If you get the opportunity, go UVerse

The only advantage Cox has is Much faster internet options and better stability for TV viewing in really nasty weather.

I asked the same question around this time last year... and after my research, I decided on Dish.
I've been very happy with my service. It is an upgrade over Cox, and I prefer it to the Direct TV service that my parents have.
If you do decide on dish, here is a $50 Refer a Friend certificate.
Your unique Refer a Friend certificate code is: VCD0012912168.
Good Luck.

Pick one and take advantage of the promo pricing that they are offering for new customers and rotate every couple of years to stay in the promo pricing area.

U-Verse is good, but AT&T sucks. They would never send a bill and kept turning off our service. We would call and ask why, they said we didnt pay, we said "you send no bill", so they would turn it back on and say they would send one. Never got one. Service turned off again, threw it out the window
