There are so many talented people in this world, this is one of the more incredible things I've seen...it's right up there with the lead pencil carvings LINK

I figured out if you click the image before the entire page loads, you can copy the image location

If this thread interests you, you need to watch "Tim's Vermeer." Really cool documentary that involves realistic painting.

Also side plot is getting into the mind of a billionaire. Their minds just aren't like ours.

I would expect that most (if not all) of these actually start with a photograph.

The artist then just paints (copies) what is in the photo.

simply couldn't be done 100 years ago.
