^which is sad, since all you would have to do is win two consecutive playoff series

Possible. But won't happen for at least five more seasons, and if the team is contending, he won't leave them. But you know that . . . I think.

I do agree that Westbrook deserves all the praise he gets, btw.

I believe he's eclipsed the 25% mark already. Pels have surpassed the Thunder (3-1) and will only continue to improve. I'm glad Dell hasn't followed the OKC model. Being runner up will always suck. That O'Brien will be beautiful to look at on Airline next to the Lombardi.

It'll be tough seeing him go, but it will also be nice having witnessed him take our basketball team to a level the Pelicans will never, ever achieve

You assume like this is as far as the Pelicans will ever go, 9th seed.

Its AD's 3rd year, you act like KD went to the finals in year 3. Pelicans can go as far as AD takes him, just as far as OKC can go on KD/RW's backs.

Just to refresh your memory: 50-32, 1st round exit. That is also with a young Westbrook, Harden, and Green.

Someone's extremely salty about the loss and doesn't know much about NBA contracts

I can tell you know next to nothing about the pels when EG has played some of his best basketball in NOLA since he's comeback.

Enjoy your whiny-arse team

Calling a team "whiny" when this post is whining about Westbrook getting acknowledged for pushing y'alls sh*t in for two consecutive games

I'm not salty about the loss. One of the greats (AD) had a defining moment of his career. He's a beast and he absolutely punished us. I'm just glad I'm not part of a fanbase who cries and namecalls when SC acknowledges a great accomplishment from another team's player.
