They make mention of them throughout the whole podcast, but they go into detail about the Pels a bit after 33:30.

LINK

Summing things up:
-before they go into detail about the Pels, BS goes into the Pels, he kinda-sorta implies that he wishes AD was on an already elite team
-BS likes the Pels
-BS thinks Gordon has turned himself into a legit asset (!!!!!!)
-Lowe thinks that the Pels have a chance to make the playoffs, but they're in the wrong conference
-BS says the Pels can beat any team on any night (true dat)
-BS says we're poorly coached (true dat again, but Monty doing well lately)
-BS says the Hawks win was legit, not a bad game from Atlanta
-Both BS/Lowe agree that AD is an MVP candidate. Lowe outright says that AD is the best player in the MVP
-Lowe says Dante is a PF
-Lowe isn't sure about Asik, says we're a weird team
-BS doesn't like Reke, thinks he should play 20mpg (!?!?!?!)

We needed a center, however not a first round pick gone 14 million a year below average center.

If we didnt trade for Asik I think this team would be in top 5 of the West because we would of had Jeff Green or some other Center or 3/4

You said Asik sucks. He says he's iffy on him.

Asik is a perfect fit for us given his cost. He's not going to break the bank for us on his next deal. I would love a stud center, but I'll take a really good defensive/rebounding center that is sort of retarded on offense.

I would love to get a deal like Asik + Ryno for Marc Gasol. There are no other great centers out there right now. Boogie probably is, but we need to believe that he'll care about shite when he comes here. So that's two clear upgrades. Who else?

Vucevic sucks on D. Horford isn't available. Maybe Noah is, but is Asik+Ryno enough/can he be healthy? Valunciunas isn't available. Drummond isn't available. Deandre Jordan probably could be had, but he'll cost about $5m/yr more than Asik.

I don't agree with these two statements at all.

I said he's overrated.

I don't believe I said he sucks, but I was emotional so maybe.

Asik sucks when he cant catch the ball with his stone hands and is slow as molasses going up for what should be an uncontested dunk and gets blocked.

But hes a decent role player. if he was just a LITTLE bit better, it would make a huge difference. Really at just fundamental things too

if he could catch or finish at the rim at a reliable rate, he'd average 15 a game

Yes, believe it or not, Zach Lowe is looked upon more highly than you.

BS says this because he knows you can't really trust Tyreke and his Dr. Jekyll & Mr Hyde game.

Tyreke is making him look really dumb these days

I see what he's saying but dante certainly is capable at both SF/PF.

The question is how many true "stud centers" are really in the NBA these days and, even more importantly for us, reasonably available?

They'll be a few this off season, but probably not affordable. The good thing about Asik's offensive struggles this season is that he may be driving his price down a little. If he could be signed for 8/9 mil per season, that would be great.

Asik's free agent value must be losing stock by the minute and it's certainly not our fault. That being said, go watch Durant's last shot of the game and tell me the dude isn't an asset. Perfect position. Hands straight up. Doesn't leave his feet. Durant almost air balls an 8 ft game winner. That's great basketball. His lack of being able to look competent on offense might save us 3-5m a season going forward and it's all over a few stone hands plays a game. Yes, they are costly, but he's also making himself a threat. Asik at 8 a year with the new cap coming up is a pretty damn good thing.

Yep.

All NBA teams are littered with flawed players. It comes down to maximizing their strengths and limiting their weaknesses. Coaches haven't been great at this, but I see more recognition of this fact and it is improving from my view in the cheap seats.

That would be an outright steal. If they bring him back under 8 figures annually,
