Wow McCollum with 77 runs on 25 balls for NZ. England looks horrible. I'm ready for India vs South Africa.

Never thought I'd post about cricket on TD.

McCullum shredded England today. NZ are my favorites to win it all. Though they may be peaking too soon.

Sri Lanka chasing 232 from Afghanistan @ 89/4 24 overs.

Kohli and Dhawan batting for India against South Africa.

Australia's 2nd match abandoned due to rain from the cyclone in Brisbane. So they shared the points with Bangladesh.

New Zealand is looking good so far 3-0.

Sri Lanka will win that game. The Afghans had the game in hand.

I really like how we're getting closer to parity in cricket. Ireland, Zimabwe and now the Afghans have looked the part against the bigger name teams. It's good for the sport.

I agree and Zimababwe's next 2 games will make or break their fate. With Pakistan and England struggling there definetly is room for a couple of teams to step in.

Yep, and Ireland will be a handful. They beat the Windies like a drum.

TN and Silicon, are you guys watching South Africa v India now? I just missed India's batting, just seeing the score (307 runs). But you think it's enough against S. Africa?

I'm watching. India needed about 325 to put some real pressure on SA early in the innings. Anyone's game at this point. India's bowling sucks though they bowled well against Pak. SA always susceptible to their mental errors.

It won't be easy for South Africa to chase 307. AB de Villiers is the key man as always.

300 has never been successfully chased at the MCG. But India's bowling sucks. So there's that.

I think India will win but they could of had a much more challenging score.

De villiers is fun to watch and I look forward to watching both these teams as the tourney goes on.

ETA: wow de villiers tests the throw of Mohit and he's out by a couple of inches

The MCG might as well have been a ground in India. Place was loud.
