Just got a call from a guy claiming to be from Nevada commission, apparently my phone number was drawn and I won 1 million dollars and a new car.

1. He forgot to block his number, Jamaica on my caller ID.

2. He called me at 6 in the morning.

I received a email a few months ago and they wanted my checking account info so they could wire me the check of my winnings I told them that they could mail me the check or send me a visa gift card - they were dumbfounded.

Vein blatantly obvious is intentional. They don't want to waste their time with people that will eventually catch on. That's why the money is always coming from a cousin in Nigeria. It's so anyone with half a brain hangs up right then and there.

I can sort of see guys acting like they work for Microsoft or a utility company or something, but these dudes who act like they are at IRS have some balls. I guess it doesn't matter if they are India.

Iv'e had this done to me twice. They always tells me they are with "Microsoft Vindows" I strung them along for a while. They eventually get mad and hang up.

The radio (WWL) was warning people of a scam where people claiming to be terrorists say they have a family member and need money loaded onto a prepaid card right now.

I would never fall for that, plus half the people they would threaten me with I would just give them the Special Man line.

Well…depending on which family member they claimed to have, they would be shite out of luck with me….I have several cousins I can do without.

Ive had the pleasure of their call on several occasions. Conversation goes like this:

Scum buckets: "Hello my new friend, you've just won a million dollars and a new BMW.

Me: "Hey my friend, hows the weather in Jamaica?"

Scum Buckets: "frick you"! Click

I got a guy from this scam to admit the scam to me. He told me they get you to get a $200 card and give them number then they promise that grant to you and a refund. Of course they never give you the refund and take your money. He said he had no other choice but to do what he is doing because there are no jobs out there that he is qualified for. I can't believe someone actually told me the scam. He also said a lot of people fall for it. After that call I never have gotten another call from them and I was getting 5 a day on my business phone.

Me: The two prizes together are a zero-sum game.

(My point: It takes a million dollars to live long-term with a BMW)

I'm a Lexus person, for the record.
