Why does Comus still not parade?

I know they stopped parading in 1991, after Dorothy Mae Taylor tried to singlehandedly ruin Mardi Gras. But her anti-discrimination ordinance was thrown out by federal court. This should allow Comus to parade again. Any idea why they still don't?

becuse they don't wnat to open their club to blacks, latinos, women, chinese, koreans, vietnamese, fillipino, or any other ethnicity that isn't white.
I gotta say, i can appreciate their resolve.

Gotta seee the bank records first. If your family made money before 1812 then you're good to go. If not, you're new money and automatically disqualified.
Proteus used to be this way but they eventually caved and let in one black guy I think so they could have a parade because otherwise no one cared who they were. They ride Monday night only to delay Orpheus every year.

Right, but that ordinance was thrown out. So why not parade again? Unless, like another poster noted, they like not having to parade anymore.

I think they like it that way. Creates more exclusivity to their group. And frankly the parade means nothing to them. The balls and deb shite is what matters.

What else does a super secret Mardi Gras krewe do other than parade and have balls? Aside from having super secret meetings, that is.
