That part of campus is far from the center of campus. It is right on the edge.
Our campus is surprisingly nice, a lot of it is just intertwined with the city.

It's technically part of campus, but the Public Health building isn't exactly what you'd consider to be the main campus of USC.

It is also a stone's throw from the State House, the Columbia Police HQ, and the Federal Building...so the law enforcement reaction has obviously been swift.
