A lot of those charts are set up to tell you how close you have to be to get the full benefit of that resolution. The distance to perceive any difference is usually more forgiving.

Oh. I completely forgot about that. I also didn't think you were that far into the game.
From my memory, it's pretty minor. I can't remember using it except for that one area.
