If Dortmund were to somehow win the CL this year(again humor), but finish in Bundesliga relegation zone...would they still be relegated?

What I see right now is panic. Klopp needs to calm them down. They send in WAY too many hopeful long balls through the air instead of the multitude of passes on the ground that have killed everybody over recent years. When they're not throwing hail Mary's, they're going 1 on 1 and taking one too many touches instead of finding their teammates' feet.

I don't know why Klopp hasn't addressed this. Or, maybe he has and the players are still panicked. Either way, they need to calm down and play their game. At the beginning of the year, they had excellent ball movement but missed a ton of shots. That had to weigh on their confidence and the long balls slowly took over. The more they lose, the more they play boot ball. It gets worse and worse.

Misshitaryan was a terrible sign too, IMO.

Most thought that would be a fantastic signing for Dortmund.

However, I have a couple of friends who are huge Shakhtar fans who always hoped he would be the first of all their talent at the time to be sold.

They actually had a funny nickname for him. It was some Russian term for the kickout hole in a pinball table.

The joke being that it looks great with all the bells and whistles sounding but more often than not the ball usually kicks out full speed the wrong direction and toward disaster.

That just about sums it up. I knew we were doomed when he missed 3 straight point blank shots against RM. I guess on the rant he would "lack sufficient chest."

It definitely hasn't helped Dortmund that Gundogan came back from his injury fat.
