Who else remembers when this class looked like a bust?

As great as this class turned out to be, I'll go out on a limb and say that a lot of our new guys are pretty underrated. Scary

We met a lot of needs with this class. Next year's class should be even better

Seriously? If you don't keep up with recruiting closely then get out of the thread. A LOT of people were in panic mode early in the cycle

i didn't expect this class to be a top ten class about two months ago.

Ah, so you're here to act like you knew it all along. This class came together last minute and was virtually a miracle, anyone that says they were confident about a top 15 finish before a few weeks ago is lying

No, I'm saying anyone panicking and calling a class a bust in December considering what was left on our board is really a chicken little.
The close was stronger than I thought but don't act like LSU was only going to sign 16.

but we could have used at least one ILB and another QB. Two major areas of concern which were underrepresented in the class.

Never said that we were only going to sign 16 but when's the last time that we pulled literally every target except for one guy? Very impressive job by the new coaches to get that many kids fully on board and excited about LSU IMO, I feel like if O and Steele wouldn't have added some excitement to the program then we would've had to settle for more than a few lesser guys in place of current commits
