What LBs did we not recruit?

We lost out on the big fish, but what other LBs did we just not pursue that would have been impact players. We have a roster full of LBs, so just adding numbers to add numbers seems a little short sighted.

Who did we choose to not pursue that would have made such an impact?

Steele will do fine developing what we have. We will be ok at LB. Next year we need to have a very good LB class.

Joyner. Never great to expect a out of state non-committed player to keep us as his favorite, but all signs seem to be positive for us right now.

Don't understand why we didn't go after Arthur McGinnis or Lorenzo Philips.

I don't know much about him and his situation, but it would seem to me that signing a WR that you expect to go JUCO on a last second flip would not supersede your needs at LB, when you have a kid not worthy in your eyes from NO that is signing w Oklahoma.

That's the way I look at it, we will address LB next year, just like we addressed OL this year.

I am not being an arse here, but we evaluated and made a determination. Should we bring a guy in to just fill a spot? It is like no one remembers Alexander last year, or Garrett, or even Riley and his improved play.

I don't understand the JUCO WR thing either, but it wasn't an either or situation.

All I know, is that we need 4 OLB next year, and one ILB. If Beckwith has a decent year next year, he is gone, that leaves you with

OLB Alexander, Riley
ILB Garrett

Four OLB and an ILB will completely restock the shelves and Joyner is the only guy that I would hope to start his first year. all the others would get great backup snaps in their first year.

With the talk of Voorhies stepping in at a LB spot, I think it does help some.

I would rather have a talented fast bulked up safety than a LB recruit we really didn't want just say we signed a 'lb'

we do have like 8 TEs, so maybe we could convert one to a MLB
