Haven't read or seen Gone Girl but The Drop is well worth a rent if you're a fan of Gandolfini and/or Hardy.

This. Plus I have had a weird attraction to Noomi Rapace every since The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.

I probably enjoyed Gone Girl a bit more because of the suspense, but The Drop was a better movie over all. Both are worth watching. Hardy is outstanding.

I watched Gone Girl last week. I found it to be long and it was hard to stay interested. I thought it was a waste of over 2 hours.

The drop was good but I was wanting something more.......Great Ending though.
