Off duty LP involved in shooting in Denham Springs 1 dead

Witnesses on the scene say the deputy was confronted by his girlfriend's ex-husband at a home on Country Club Ln., just off Lockhart Rd. in Denham Springs.
Reports say the ex-husband began shooting after he came into the home. Officials say at this time, shots were fired and the ex-husband was killed. No other details about the shooting has been released.
