It was a good mouse. Never gave me any issues. Was there for every headshot, gank and backstabbing.

May you rest in peace good buddy.

A sad day.

I need a new one as well.

I've read a bunch of reviews and posts from here.

Then I consider I probably never lost a league fight or lane due to not having a gaming mouse

So I forget. And spend the money on RP

But I really probably need one with two side buttons

I've had this one for about a year, no complaints.

Mine died on me mid game just now.

Managed to find some old basic wireless mouse.

It sucked pretty badly to play with it.

I am going to best buy tomorrow after work to grab a new one.

Looks like I'll be going with the Logitech G502.

I've read decent things about the Razer models, but the one I had was the old Logitech G500 from like 10 years ago. I want to stick with Logitech for that very reason. (That and my gaming keyboard is Logitech).

Yeah in pretty jealous of you for getting that. I want it. I think I saw a followup from you saying they aren't available or hella expensive now?

Are the side buttons on that thing not intrusive? It looks like it would bother me.

I'm also used to a ginormous mouse. The Razer's always seem small in my hand.

I gotta say -- I've had a Microsoft Sidewinder for about 4 years now and I really like it. It wasn't terribly expensive and I get good response from it. And I've spilled beer on it way too often. It has a nice weight and I love the side buttons. They are perfectly positioned for my hand. The fingers click right for me and I enjoy the resistance of the wheel. It's not a normal suggestion and I don't even know if they make it anymore, but that was money well spent.

Yeah they came out for a limited time over a year ago, can't find them anymore, I got lucky and found this one on eBay a year ago and got it for $70 with the collectors gaming mat.

Now on eBay the mouse alone is over $120.

That+the mouse was the original collection they sold together.

The one I had was pretty popular when I bought it. Cost me $50 on sale. Lasted me 10 years.

I'm okay with spending $90 on anything that will last me even half that long. Which is what I've come to expect from Logitech.

No, has a small thumb pad/rest in the middle where you rest your thumb, actually feels fantastic.

Solid piece of equipment

I've had my ghetto standard 30 dollar microsoft mouse for a while and no complaints from me. I probably don't know what I'm missing out on.

Probably comparable to bmc drinkers who refuse to try "pumpkin peach ale".

Man..6 side buttons like that seems like a potential disaster. .. like using zhonyas hourglass when you meant to use DFG

Just kidding..probably would just take a night to keybind and implement. But oh man the rage in chat when you mean to smite baron and accidently flash that 1 time...

Exactly.

I'm telling you, it makes a difference. Hell, having on the fly sensitivity adjustment makes it worth it IMO

I used my side button as the 5 slot on league for pots or active items for support. Works very well.

After you get it down they are essential though, couldn't live without them now.

Yep, and I use the auto lock camera for a slot as well, quicker than hitting Y and I switch between them constantly.

Yep. In league especially, your fingers already have enough keys to be occupied with (and you need to be on point).

Being able to use your thumb and the mouse buttons is extremely convenient and efficient.

I used a G500s. Used it's earlier model G500 for 3-4 years and upgraded to G500s. Still use the older model for my laptop, it's a great mouse with additional buttons, but it doesn't feel overwhelming.

I tried to buy a Razer Naga but it didn't suit my style, and rarely used all the buttons.
