My brother-in-law (not the one that helped lsu_tiger_az with his toe fungus) thinks his long-haired dachshund can beat me in a 40 yard dash. I have not seen the dog run yet. Not sure if he think his dog is fast or if he thinks I am just slow. Regardless, there may be money that goes to the winner.

I know the dog has short legs, but just not sure how speedy it is.

Thoughts?

I think you and Austin Cajun must be hanging out together.

Um, chickens are slow as frick. Plus yall display signs of mild retardation by how your legs/heads are connected.

Maybe the dog will just go for you instead of run the race though

You will win unless you cramp up or break your ankle before the finish line...

As a general rule, animals with four legs are faster and have better balance than animals with two legs.

That being said, you might have a chance.

What will the dog spend his cash prize on? Most stores have strict "no dogs allowed" policies.

No way the dog runs straight, easy money even if you're obese

Keep in mind they were bred to burrow down and get rabbits and crap. Have to be pretty quick to chase one down.

Here is one that's pretty chunky.

The Chicken and the hair(y) dachshund.. there had better be video of this.

Tip: If you get a big lead, don't take a nap. And whatever you do, don't lay an egg.

You gonna get smoked. I suggest setting up the race somewhere with very tall grass.

My roommate had one in DC and it was a little yippy dog.. no WAY you couldn't beat it in a foot race.

Unless, you know... you're fat and immobile.
