If you live in an area with really cold weather then yes. Generally not but I have a single pair I wear about two or three times a Winter.

My brother pulls them off pretty well. But he is into the music scene. He has made some crazy fashion choices. Corduroy pants has been one of his tamer decisions.

Got one pair dark brown from brooks bros. don't wear them often but definitely feel comfortable working them in couple times a winter month.
