This will change dramatically a couple weeks from now... There have been a few teams that played UK kinda close... LSU will not be one of them....

If the other bubble teams lose 4 in February and LSU loses only 2, LSU is ahead of the part of the pack that matters, the other bubble teams.

what if the bubble team that loses 4 has better wins?

How stupid are you? You really think losing to the undefeated #1 team in the country will dramatically hurt our RPI?
That game is RPI gravy. Either almost no penalty with a loss or a huge bump with a win.

It's tourney level for now. There is no reason to he overly confident going into any game left on the schedule. This team has lost to Mizzou and State. They can turn it around though.

Yall are talking about SEC teams not ncaa teams for one. And once again, they will put less teams in if bubble teams are losing. It's not who sucks the least gets in dude

The RPI is a ncaa wide statistic dumbass the reason the other teams were brought up is because it gives a general idea where the pundits and comittee draw the line

So much stupid in this thread...yesterday was obviously a bad loss, but it wasn't a season killer by any means. Our RPI is still solid, and so is our overall record...we just have to take care of business down the stretch.

I totally agree Dallas. It's just our continued and persistent turnover issues and tendency toward sloppy and undisciplined play makes every game a struggle and leads one to worry there are more bad losses on the horizon.

We are still in the mix, and I would go so far as to say if we win all the games we're favored in the rest of the year...we are in. But that's a big if at this point.

Auburn-W
Alabama-W
Kentucky-L
Tennessee-L
Texas A&M-W
Florida-L
Auburn-W
Ole- Miss-W
Tennessee-W
Arkansas-L

22-9 (11-7). Go 1-1 in sec tourney we are easily anywhere from an 8-10 seed. Would rather be 10 seed.

there's a real good chance that we will be a "bubble team" at the end of the season. that will stress the shite out of me as the tourney is my favorite sporting event to watch.

Why is that funny. Can you count how many teams made it from SEC last season? Laugh away smart one

Because the league is way better than last year by every available metric out there.

Some seem to be in denial of that. Every single matrix confirms this. We'll get four at least this year.

If lsu goes .500 from here forward, does it matter what other teams do?

I guess this number is locked in and never changes from year to year. We should just hang it up until next year.
