I certainly hope Chinea's glove work has improved. I have a feeling there will be a three-way platooning most of the season.

I hope your right about Pap's arm. We've been missing a gun behind the plate and small ball calls for one.

Good stuff.

Did you not read the preview? We were 3rd in the SEC in throwing out runners last year.

And he's right about Pap. They've been stealing a ton this fall and spring and he's thrown out well over 50%.

It's never almost baseball season until Adam's preview comes out.

Great analysis on the catchers Adam.

Baseball will be played this month, and Adam's preview is here!

I'm with you on the catchers. Pap definitely has the potential to be the full-time starter down the road, but early on, it'll probably be a rotation of all 3. Chinea should still get a lot of time at DH though.

Can we see scales on the other two catchers? I would think Paps is going to start by conference play.

Good write up!

No offense but I don't know how Scivicque's speed could be anything other than a 20. He's one of the slowest humans I've ever seen.

It's interesting that he gives Sciv a 60 overall when the only thing he has above 55 is his power at 65.

I did. That surprises me because watching the games, it just seemed like we got stole on quite a bit.

Did not know our catchers were that good in SEC play. That's impressive. This year will hopefully be an improvement from that?

We play SEC teams that like to run. And we rarely run even when we have speed. So I can see why you would have that perception.

"At the end of each position is a final grade for the entire unit"

... Reading comprehension

That tells you what he thinks about Pap

If I had read that I would have comprehended. Accidentally skipped. My apologies Adam.
