I think this is a pretty realistic record looking at our remaining scheduke and how we are playing as a team. Is this enough to get us in?

No...because all of the bad losses. NIT - decent shot.

What a shame. I hope we can do better but I just dont see how. Our schedule after Alabama and Auburn is hard.

Maybe, depending on where we are in the standings and sec tourney showing.

We'd probably have to beat Kentucky to offset the awfulness of the loss today. If we're on the bubble, today hurt. 21 wins doesn't get us there, I don't think.

I don't see more than 21 looking at who we have left. Tennessee twice, Kentucky, Arkansas, A&M again, etc

I agree with another poster. This team doesn't have a run in them. Too inconsistent & very undisciplined.

You do realize that fringe are fringe teams because they have bad losses. LSU isn't going to be only team seeded/on the bubble with bad losses.

6-4 is very doable but this team never ceases to suprise good and bad.

There is also no way anyone can reasonably predict how they would do in the NCAA tournament because they had the talent and ability to beat anyone that they play but they also can be frustrating and lose to anyone they play.

At 11-7 they would probably need to get to the SEC tourney finals to have a shot at the dance but even that might not be enough.

Must be at least 12-6 (23-8) in SEC to make the NCAAs.

On the surface I'd say yes. Tennessee got in at 11-7 in conference weaker last year by all measurables.

However, as others have said, it's who we lost to that makes that less likely than it otherwise should be.

Mizzou has lost all their home games since beating us including a savage beatdown today.

Give it up, guys. This team is not going to NCAA tourney. Not good enough and no dominant big man. Too sloppy with ball and bench is thin...

I'm beginning to worry you might be right Langdon.

Although "good enough" is a broad term. I think they could and should be good enough. Making the tournament is like getting into the 24th best bowl game, you don't have to be that good. Heck, there were teams that got at large bids last year that I think LSU was better than and a few they actually beat.

Several team will make the tournament without dominant big men and only playing 7-8 players.

It's the sloppiness that is the big issue. It is something IMHO that should be fixable and is not getting better at all. And that more than anything may likely keep us out.

LSU could've played in that tournament last year for sure.
