Wasn't the largest denier exposed for fraud this week? Some Harvard scientist I think.

I don't really keep up with it anymore. It has become political which means nothing will be done either way.

None of his papers have been disproved, he did not disclose who was paying for his work...

Ah, knew it was something. Like I said, I don't keep up with it.

I liken it to smoking, eventually people will believe.

By watching the nightly news you would think global warming has increased 15 degrees over the past century. The truth is, those scientist that say it is happening, say that the change is .5 of a degree. Let that sink in, .5 degree over 100 years... Might it be changing? Sure, it is always changing... Man made? Perhaps some of it. Can man do anything about the change? No.

I really don't watch television news, so I can't tell you.

I do believe humans are altering the environment. How it plays out I have no idea. I won't be alive so I care even less, but as a legacy I would like to belive I am not being a selfish frick and ruining this place.

No clue, I am out of the loop for at least a week unless something big happens.

Seems like it may be a couple of weeks.

People are crossing at Norco, union and nonunion.

Think they go back today or Monday, don't remember.

Are the brand new couches, ping pong tables, etc. in the lunchroom rumors true?

I don't blame anyone from crossing. This whole situation is f'ed up and the USW is frickin with peoples lively hoods. Do what you have to do to maintain and support your family.
The company will welcome you backbit it the maintenance people you have to worry about.

Im guessing 60-70% of people are in the union b/c they have to be, not b/c they GAS about "the union".

Strikes are a good way to lose membership.

Spot on. I can almost guarantee that they will lose a lot of memberships after this is all said and done.

I don't either, nobody knows other people's situations. I have some savings, but others aren't as fortunate. I would also rather not exhaust my savings though, but I don't think anybody really believes this will be done before april/may time frame.
