Why do I always hear the same woman's voice say this whenever there's a movie or tv scene in a hospital? I first heard it in Queensryche's 'Operation Mindcrime' but now hear it all the time..... Just heard it in Prison Break

There's the “Dr. Davis, telephone please, Dr. Davis, telephone please, Dr. Blair, Dr. Blair, Dr. J. Hamilton, Dr. J. Hamilton” ...This is from and old album of hospital sound effects. It's very well known to rock music fans because it can be heard at the beginning of Queensryche's Operation Mindcrime & Motley Crue's Dr. Feelgood. It's been used it dozens of films and TV shows.

And just heard it again in the movie 'the 9th life of louis drax'.
I also know it from mindcrime, and i've also heard it a lot ever since.
Must be in some hospital sample pack they use in movies and tv shows.
Still weird, especially considering the samples age.

And I just heard it on Samaritan with Sylvester Stallone. I recognized it from Motley Crue's Dr. Feelgood opener, so I googled it and this thread came up. I always thought it originated from the Dr. Feelgood album/song - hope so. Cira 1989.

EDIT: I see the Queensryche album was released a year prior.
