So I have a 2003 GMC Yukon with 241K miles on it. Recently at low RPMs either at a stop light or stop and go traffic the lights will dim, ac/heater will cut out, and the radio will cut out, but only for a second. it is almost like a power surge or quick outage, it scares the shite out of me because it almost feels like the vehicle dies for a second, but them it is fine. this usually only happens once in the morning on the way to work and once in the evening, after the event the vehicle runs fine. Any ideas?

You need to replace your Johnson rod.

There's a short in your blinker fluid

Definitely the kanuter valve

The fix pin is trying to come out of your wobbling shaft. Could be a real serious problem.

Alternator? Or flux capacitor.

Sounds like the alternator is going out or the computer is having issues. Could also be a bad ground or an intermittent short somewhere. Good luck electrical shite can be a real pain to find and fix

Yeah I figured it will be a nightmare to mess with if its electrical.

Have the alternator tested. It will be the easiest thing to troubleshoot

Is there a "Salt Life" and/or "Yeti" sticker anywhere on the vehicle? If both make sure they are placed evenly from the center of gravity on your truck and were applied around the same time. The added gravitational pull from said stickers during low RPMs could be throwing off your timing if not spaced properly.
On a serious note you could have a valve sticking and the computer is shutting off non essential power to make up for the loss. My 2008 Sierra did that for a while.

I know my car will shut everything that pulls power off to try and keep you from stalling it. Could be something like that?
My default instinct is always a bad ground though. A bad ground on a DC circuit will make some really crazy shite happen

ever since they switched to ball bearings for everything I cant keep up. Good luck.

as was said, check grounds in the harnesses. With that many miles, it would be easy to have one fatigue and be about to break or have one corroded. I hate intermittents like this.
Any aftermarket electrical stuff on it like an alarm, fog lights, back up lights, sound system?
EDIT: consider an OBD 2 scanner that does real time data too and have someone looking at voltages riding shotgun. Check for codes obviously also

My money would be on the alternator or rather the internal voltage regulator.

You need a throttle body. They are notorious for the IAC valve going bad in them causing the motor to idle so low that the alternator can't put out a charge.

Have you checked your muffler bearings?

Alternator- replace it ASAP before it takes out your battery, starter and anything else electrical
A fault alternator that fails and issues a high volt/amp surge can do a lot of damage

Had to replace this on a Ford, was doing pretty much the same thing the OP is saying.
