I'm about as far from redneck as you can get. I went a few years back and thoroughly enjoyed myself. People watching was fun, but so were the monster trucks. Can't lie.

Bring ear plugs or muffs or whatever you got. That shite is loud.

Yeah. Prime people watching. We have gone the last couple years cause our nephew LOVES Monster trucks. Not something I would normally want to go to...but it was fun seeing his reaction to all the trucks. Saw a couple of the trucks do complete backflips...that was kinda cool.

The other thing that sucks is the alcohol selection they serve. It's at Chase field here and they normally sell all kinds of beer. Went to the Blue Moon cart to buy one for my husband...not selling any that day(Blue Moon taps turned off). Instead I could choose from Coors Light, Budlight and Dos Equis. That was it.

It's not bad for a one-time deal.

The trucks are pretty badass, actually.

It's entertaining... it's $20 for a ticket... that's like $4 more than a movie ticket now, and it I'd more entertaining

$20? It was like $50 each for us....that includes the pit passes to go on floor before show. If you are going with kids it's a must because the kids can get up close to the trucks and meet the drivers and there are a ton of activities for them.

Nose bleed section, that's where the real show is... I'm going with 3 friends were all in our 20's... we don't need floor passes or any of that noise

Gotcha....yeah we got seats at the bottom so my nephew could see trucks up close. Again....the things we do for kids. I could think of better things to spend $50 on

They take advantage of all the kids there....selling all kinds of overpriced crappy souvenirs.

It is entertaining though. You will walk out of there feeling MUCH better about yourself I will guarantee that. Easy self esteem boost Have fun

I have looked for pit passes all week with no luck. NOLA did a terrible job of advertising for them, IMO. We wanted to take Junior early to the pits so we could leave early. He will be two in two weeks, so we don't know how he will do during the main event.

I just like seeing all the awesomely bad fashion choices the women make to these events. Ex: Like the mom with 3 young kids in tow wearing a tank top that said "frick You" over tight jeans with her fat stomach hanging over the waistband

The pit passes are cheap too...like $10.

We stood in line with my nephew for 45 minutes.......so he could get a balloon animal

I saw lots of young kids there....just bring headphones for their ears(they charge like $25 for a cheap pair there).

Yeah my buddy bought the tickets. He said they were $50 each. Looks like I'll be buying the beer. Hope our boys enjoy it because this will be the first and last one we go to.

Hope you like either Coors Lite, Bud Light or Dos Equis

Seriously they only sell domestic beers at Monster Jam. There are jack Daniel bars too that sell mixed drinks and I saw a few margarita stands as well.
