So polaris wouldn't crank. Dead battery. And we had to walk in. Both sitting in stands not hunted this season. corn and sweet feed put out last sunday.

Well guys the season has come to an end. It sucks thinking this is the last hunt of the 2014-2015 season. Just wanted to thank everyone out there for contributing to these posts and giving me something to look forward to every morning (even when I'm in the office and you bastards are hunting). I guess it's time to go fishing.

Camden, MS
29 degrees and calm
35 Whelen in my box over looking plot
Looking for meat and a yearling doesn't stand a chance.

Good luck OB and stay safe. Hope everyone pulls the trigger today.

Good luck everyone!

Hopefully BP and Deacon got all the bad luck out of the way early and now they will smoke some pork!

You didn't happen to walk up on a bow hunter and kill a woodcock right infront of his stand a couple days ago, did you?

hunting tips for today:

1. charge the polaris.

2. remember to zip up your backpack so that all your bullets dont fall out when you put your backpack in the stand.

those cows are disturbing my nap!

Remembering the bullets - key point there...my problem last time was remembering the correct bullets!

Can't drunk all day if you don't get started first thing in the morning.

Coaching my son's little dribblers basketball team today. First game of the year and I'm excited and nervous.

Doe down at 7:20, drug her up to stand and left her laying. Hauled arse to another stand hoping to double up before lunch. Major is 8:30-11:30, so didn't want to waste an opportunity.

No kidding. Last day of the season, trying to capitalize. My mother and wife are cooped up in my house so regardless I would hunt all day. I'm not walking into that.

Not sure if this is the best way to prepare for a night shift.

So neither of us saw any pigs this morning but will be back out this afternoon. I did a little scouting and found a camera that I had stuck in "new place" 3 years ago that I had forgotten and considered lost to the logging company. Had 200 plus pics on it.
