regardless of your feelings about Rivers, dude was a top 5 HS recruit. Guys like that usually hit the NBA no matter what. NOLA drafted him in part b/c they knew him very well due to personal relationships.
You're right about his career at Duke though, it was very underwhelming. Should've stayed another year.

Honestly, Austin turned me from a huge supporter last year to a big detractor this year on attitude alone. Dudes been a whiny little bitch this whole season. He'll fit right in with this team and the only reason I can never hate the dude is for bucking up to Reggie Evans after he elbowed the shite out of AD last year. Will never cheer for him again though.
