If there is one modern development, as an older guy, that I really fricking hate, it is the existence of being famous for being famous.
I mean, I used to think a lot of celebrities 3 decades ago were fricked up too, but at least then, I had a fricking clue why people were following them!!!!

I have a family friend, in his 60s, who finally divorced his wife and is now living with a "roommate". He came out as gay to his close family and friends, but to the world and because he's a c-suite exec he's just divorced. He's always known he was gay and always wanted a man. But that generation knew that you had to get married and have kids to "get ahead in life." So he buried his his true nature. His kids havr been very supportive. He said if he was a 30 year old male today he could have been a gay guy and not have to put up a charade.

My point is people are saying " wow look at Bruce the Olympic athlete what happened to that guy" and don't realize he may have been Bruce the woman trapped in a man's body even back then when he seemed to be such an alpha male.

The bottom line is that ALL of these things are pure and simple mental illnesses and only because most people have been bludgeoned into thinking they're bigots for saying it do people pretend otherwise.
If a person said, "I'm not really a man, I'm a dog trapped in a man's body", you'd all know he was nuts.
Thinking you are what your body is NOT is BY frickING DEFINITION a mental defect. It's one you can live with. I don't propose jailing people for it or anything else.
But, it is what it is. They're nuts. It's just one of those "nuts" things that you can be but still navigate life.

But, he was also very "prissy" back then. I remember watching the live interviews and even thinking that he sure was concerned about his outfit and hair. We all wore tight and short shorts in the 70's, but he actually cared about that stuff.
