Or just a typical butt hurt fan from the SEC.

This should actually be titled "NO Evidence of Cam Newton's Growth & Maturity". If you think he is mature at all in any way you are a certified idiot.
This guy sounds smart

I'd say this is about right. He's right in the middle of the pack of all 32 QBs. He has A future in the NFL, but he's not THE future.

Cam Newton's thoughts on "deflategate":

Anyone who says otherwise is a hater.
I'm interested to see what Cam Newton does next year if the Carolina Panthers decide to build an offense around him, mainly by adding play-makers. Mike Shula appears to be staying (negative), but hopefully next year he will be better and more healthy.
People like to forget that he had off-season ankle surgery, missed the off-season, fractured ribs during the preseason, got into a car wreck late in the year, and had an offense full of new/mediocre talent...and Carolina still won the division for the second consecutive season, while also winning a playoff game.

While I don't quite agree with the last two sentences, I will admit that Cam really has matured a lot.

but there's a good chance that Carolina runs the South for the next five years.
the only way they'd have a chance to do that is if every other team had a shitty year(s) like this past season.
what Carolina did down the stretch wasn't impressive. They beat bad teams and then won a playoff game against a team on its 3rd string QB. And they even did a few things in that game to help Arizona stay in that game.
I do think carolina has drafted well recently though.
They've had to because their cap situation has been sketchy.
