I hear that. I worked 2 years delivering all throughout NOLA with a delivery company. Two of my stops were daycare centers in Fisher and B.W. Cooper. Only time ive been scared was driving across the Huey P. Slapped mirrors a couple times with other trucks.

Why wouldn't you? It's probably the best chicken place in the area, assuming there is no KFC.

You don't love the chain dining options out there?

All the KFCs became Canes here

Vets is awful. Literally lights 100 yards apart and you just start and stop continuously.

Nola needs to step up their Canes game. Not nearly enough.

More of an addition than a fix, but I agree. Jefferson parish has horrible light timing.
I remember maybe 15 years ago, driving down a random street in Houston, one of those super long avenues. It was late and there weren't many cars. Every light was and turned green as I was a block away. Don't know if it was sensors, or special timing, or the wires they embed in the ground that count cars, but it was very impressive.
Meanwhile in Kenner and JP you have a light turn green as the light a block ahead turns yellow.

I still think Popeyes, Spicy is the best fast food chicken you can get.
(not counting like McHardy's or something like that)

I'd be more worried about the food than the locale.
