a lot of people dress oddly , we all dress as we want to be identified.

If I knew someone that was transgendered, they wouldn't be my friend.

What does he do for a living?

I've wondered what jobs these type of people can get where they wouldn't get shunned. Bartending at a gay bar is the only thing I can think of.

You're using the wrong pronouns, bro. Got to be sensitive these days.

However, ne hasn't made much "physical" progress and still dresses and acts like a bro. Tomorrow is nim birthday and we're taking nim out. It is also the day ne "comes out" as a woman in public.

Things haven't been weird because ne still acts like a bro, dresses like a bro, talks like a bro, etc. I'm worried that tomorrow will be very strange for me, seeing nim dressed like a woman and all.

A sex change/transition for a transgendered person is considered by the medical community to be a treatment. She's essentially undergoing therapy. You'd be a real dick if you stopped being her friend.

ETA: It's bout to rain downvotes.

If I was friends with the person before the change then I wouldn't just abandon the guy. I wouldn't go to gay bars with him or anything like that though.

Wait...what?

You want your guy friends to look like hot chicks so you can hit on them?

He is a computer programmer/code writer, etc., and a damn good one at that. He is easily one of the best young programmers in the city.

I am in no way connected to the programming, IT, etc. industry, but I have been told that by multiple people in that industry who know him.
