I just don't think you pass on a guy with his length and hip fluidity. Attrition will more than likely hit dbs hard the next 2 years so loading up with quality is much needed in this class and next. I do think however, quality dept was needed at the LB position if we will truly utilize multi fronts with up to 4 backs. Hopefully, Beckwith stays his SR year we sign a big haul next year.

I am quite sure the staff is working relentlessly to fill the LB and DL needs. LSU's pursuant of recruiting another DB does not take away from filling these needs. I believe your 'hope' will be met.

I'm fairly certain that Hill is committing to Texas. We're stacked at DB in this class and next year should be fantastic at that position for us, too. Only way it bites LSU is if he picks the Aggies, but that would be surprising

Jimmy's had a rough couple of years. His final NOLA predictions last year had LSU going 5 for 5 at the allstar announcements. LSU got 2 of 5. Then this year, his final 7 predictions put "bizarre" on a new plateau. Hill is just one of those. I would rank LSU's chances at Hill at pretty much 0%. Jimmy Smith needs to get him some new sources and Demetric Warren shouldn't be one of them.
