It's a free language learning site. Been dabbling in French a bit. Any success around here?

Some folks swore by them though.

The challenges where you have to listen to the speaker are pissing me off. They aren't that clear and my ears aren't trained for French yet.

Used it to learn a good bit of German before Europe last summer.

Took the money set aside for Rosetta Stone and spent it on weissbiers

Seemed elementary to me and not so useful.

So is it me just getting frustrated trying to pick out the words in the audio? I do well translating on screen but listening is driving me nuts.

I meant to use it a lot more than I did before I went to Spain.

It did however bring up some of what I had learned 10 years ago so I could say really simple stuff again.

Probably will try again for Thai if they have it.

Damn they don't

I'd love to do an Asian language but I'm getting frustrated with French. I usually do well with this kind of thing. That's adding fuel to my fire right now.

Ya I just looked and don't see any Asian languages. Not too surprising though
