yea, its kind of dumb to argue that since most super heroes and heroines could get just about whoever they wanted.
sucks to be the deformed heroes. People be like "Yea, super strength and controlling plants is cool but... sorry Mr Swamp Thing, you smell like cabbage and shite so..."

Superman, Martian Manhunter, and Green Lantern are all so ridiculously overpowered that it turned me off to DC even as a child. Having said that, Batman is probably the best comic character of all.

Alright, I'll let this slide and issue my own rebuttal one day.
But I'll leave you this line to chew on. Batman may be the coolest Superhero and being very interesting but Superman is still the greatest hero and most moral one with Captain America being his compatriot in that regard.

He's actually a great immigrant story in which he perfectly assimilated into American society and and only used his great power for good while living a life that's as American as apple pie. He's one of the best ideas to come out of WW2.
Second, why is he in a justice league where not even he and Batman are not chairman of sometimes?
