Yeah, he stayed all four years.
He was given a scholarship on the 09-10 team that won it all. I remember after Elliott Williams left they needed guards for the bench so desperately that they 'promoted' him . Fortunately, the bench didn't turn out to be an issue that year.

You'd think it'd almost have to be with the timing. Like I said earlier, this isn't a "I'm transferring out" type deal at the end of the season.

It would blow my mind if he was kicked off the team for anything less than failing a hard drug test or physically striking a coach or non-provoking teammate.
he must be one of this infamous Duke thugs Peej warned us about

I'm shocked by this. Sulaimon was 4.0 student in high school. Super humble guy. Seemed like the perfect fit for Duke.

Don't think it's drugs. People on TDD think it might be allegations of sexual impropriety but I'm confused bc he isn't in trouble with the school or the law.

Interesting time for Duke to whip out the Methodist card.

If he was under investigation he wouldn't have been playing, and I highly doubt he assaulted someone last night and then got kicked off today. i saw that skank's twitter and it seems like a whole load of bullshite.

Yeah he wouldn't still be going to classes and there are no charges. Doesn't seen overly reliable but nothing else makes sense, either.

Couple of tweets from Josh Hairston.
@jhairston15: Praying for my brother man. It's funny how everybody thinks they know the true story, and they really have no idea
followed by
@jhairston15: Your brother ain't always right, but he's always your brother.
The Chronicle may be releasing a story with more details.

Is there any more information on why this happened?
I was waiting for some outlet like FoxSports, ESPN, CBSSN to say something and nothing has come out.

None yet but I really think it involved attitude, maturity and being a poor team player. Apparently he wasn't very dedicated in practice or conditioning, and his play on the court had gotten very selfish and out of control. He must have caused a scene after the notre dame game or something or broken another team rule

I played with him in high school and he was always kinda a head case. Everyone just assumed coach k would straighten him out though

This was the setting where he allegedly sexually assaulted the two women on separate occasions.
