i worked with a guy who at the time was in his mid 40's. He bought one from russia. She was in her early 20's and pretty hot. not OT hot but irl hot.
he said it cost him in the 30k range. he used to walk into work dragging arse because she "wore him out". I used to laugh because he would let her go on weekend trips with "friends".
She was pretty smart, went on to be a teacher somewhere. once she got knocked up she turned to shite.

Naturally, I just kind of viewed the type as submissive losers, but maybe that's true and there is just a lot of pent up aggression.

I'm trying to think of clever analogies to describe them, but I'll be up front. As professionals they are as warm and charming as one might imagine, but their entire worldview is shaped by materialism in a way that would make Westerners blush. The ones that we interacted with in Europe were often educated, but they still came from what we could only consider environments of deprivation, and many still had this idea that as soon as they got the hell out of Russia (or Ukraine, Estonia, Latvia, wherever) they'd instantly meet a western guy who would be able to give them anything they ever wanted. When high-expectations meet reality, the thrill is gone. I had a buddy date a chick from Russia long-term, and I hung out with some of her friends. I can't imagine wanting to just bring some poor girl from a shitty country over to the states and expecting it to work.
Now the pros. I highly recommend. Can't say enough good things.

Just looked at a couple of websites. If you have the money you can find women like that here. They are hot, but I would be skeptical.
My wife's stepsister is legit hot and she married a bald, 5'7" engineer who wears glasses. He has money, though. She gave him two sons and she looks the same.
Point is, just get out there and search. Lots of women aren't into looks that much anymore. They prefer personality and security.

I know a guy who married a Russian chick that he never met in person. He paid out the arse for her to get to the states.
The marriage lasted about 7 years after she got Americanized they got divorced. He pays for her house, car and gives her 10k a month to live on.

A few years ago, someone sent me a self-published book on how to select Russian women for marriage. (I work in the news media and he wanted coverage) That book has provided hours of entertainment for me, my wife and our friends. It's just awful -- it's got creep shots of Russian women on the streets, the guy tells you to take them to McDonald's for a date, because that's a nice place there.

Eastern european women have a different type of affection. I have a friend that was dating a ukrainian stripper last semester (my roommate actually). She was cold compared to American girls but she was IRL8, a screamer and he claimed a squirter. She had to go back to Ukraine at the end of dec.
