I used to look forward to checking this board before and after pels games. So predictable now. Loss = fire Monty and trade everyone. WIN = dead board. Where is the basketball talk? Everyone just comes here and flames away. So disappointing...

This board gives a good look into the psychology of a fanbase.

You can clearly see the dichotomy of the board when you look at it the past few games and tonight.

You also have to remember that we really did not expect to win most games back in circa 2012 so that's another thing.

We just need a new coach. Believed it last night too.

Idk what flame means. It just felt right.
As far as the "go frick yourself" and YA boy crying... It's posters like yall who make this board suck so much these days... Suck somebody off.

Only thing that is talked about is Monty being terrible and ragging our players after bad games.

Most of the posters here would rather see us trade everyone then try and develop an actual team. shite takes time. AD Is 21.. Yes we could be doing better but... We're still a young team held back by injuries.. It sucks no doubt but how about we support our players? Talk good about them when they do good and quit bitching so much. This team is really fun to watch win or lose.

This team is not fun to watch losing because we have too many instances where the offense is stagnant and there is no ball movement. It's really frustrating to sit in the stands and have to yell "move the ball". We shouldn't have to be dealing with this every other game or 2. We desperately need an offensive identity because it changes from game to game. It should be ISO plays for Davis more than 50% of the time, then quick ball & player movement the rest of the time. We are a young team and playing like a bunch of old guys at a Y.

I agree it can be frustrating to watch... Maybe I got ahead of myself when I said it was fun to watch when we lose.

But..

You say we need to move the ball... Then you say we need to ISO AD half the time??? Not good basketball.

Old men at the Y are good bc they play good team basketball. They make the extra pass and get easy buckets. This is what we do not do.

IMO it is still fun to watch us go through all of these growing pains.. As frustrating as it can be..

We got down big early, AD goes out as we make run to catch up, we keep it a little closer, AD comes back and we get a lead. Lose lead then lose game. We fought adversity and didn't get embarassed like I thought we would after the 1st.

They're not fun to watch when they lose to crap teams. They're pretty pathetic then.

Stop sunshine pumping, that shite doesn't follow board protocol! If it isn't a #firemonty, should we, possible trade that would never happen, or game thread, it doesn't belong here

Oh this board can degenerate quickly at times, just like the Rant and Saints Talk. But it also has legitimate basketball discussion threads that contain good info from guys who do their research and observe the league.

All of the team boards are insufferable after losses on a game day. The people don't like what they see and feel a need to be miserable with others. I think there also is a fear that Monty will end up getting another pass. This can't be the best coaching available for this team. The venting helps warm up Monty's seat, and he's earned a hot seat.

It's so frustrating. Monty's not what I would call a horrible, completely incompetent coach. He's just not good enough to take this team where it needs to go.

That's why I was hoping Monty would get canned after the Knicks game. We don't need AD to save his job by carrying this team

Failure breeds negativity. We haven't been relevant in years, and our 4 game win streak was the closest we've been to being relevant in the playoff race.

So predictable now.

This board is as predictable as the team. There really is nothing to talk about to be fair.

Where is the basketball talk?

The key points have been beaten into the ground:

Davis being a demi-God on the verge of usurping Zeus? Check

Tyreke and his selfishness (or lack there of)? Check

Asik's awful offensive play? Check

Anderson playing like crap? Check

Monty WOAT? Check

Everyone just comes here and flames away. So disappointing...

Because everyone here minus GI knows one simple thing to be truth. This roster make up is very complex and would require a top 5-10 coach to get it to work consistently. It is top heavy with "pretty good" or better talent. We have a bottom 5 coach. Monty is simply in over his head right now. The fans are frustrated because, quite frankly, this team has enough talent to be much much better. It starts and ends with him. Demps has catered to him this entire season and the only difference really is we've been healthier this year and Davis went from great to amazing.

Like everyone but you knew that Austin Rivers sucks. Blow me, little boy.

None of those coaches are available. We are as likely to hire someone worse than Monty as we are someone better.

Lolno. We have AD, then 2 or 3 slightly above average players, then 2 or 3 average players, then a bag of wet farts.

We really don't, though. This is just false. This is an average roster with a very young superstar in the making playing average ball.

Okay, so he actually tried to give the coach a competent roster after 3 years of mind-blowing moves that put him behind the curve.

I genuinely enjoy this board no matter the circumstances. There aren't even really any posters here that I dislike.

Watching the games along with the in-game thread is a great time.
