Just buy a truck and make it so that its sole purpose is to move your yeti around.

Too small. They only work on smooth pavement.

Needs bigger wheels for rough terrain or sand.

I'm puzzlin' on this whole shebang right now...

Would four of these, mounted to an aluminum frame, move a loaded cooler through sand.

I'll admit the ballon tires are better, but at $50 each, that's crazy.

4 tires may be hard to turn without a pivot point for the tires. I was just thinking 2 of those tires and some stainless tubing and a tubing bender.... And a TIG welder....

Yeah, would definitely need a steering mechanism.

Like a wagon handle attached to the front turning, axle.

Wouldn't aluminum work?

2 tires and the yeti handle might be the better option than 4 wheels...

Aluminum would probably work, but them damn YETIs are heavy!! I would use SS for the extra strength. I am in the Pre-Job phase of kicking off a research lab relocation project that will involve a shitload of SS and alloy tubing installation and I will have a subcontractor performing orbital welding on the tubing. Now you've got the gears grinding in my head, I'm gonna get a prototype made

Stainless s nice, but I'd like to keep the cost down.

I'm only thinking of moving a Yeti 50 over beach sand, gravel parking lots, etc.

Basically, something you could set the Yeti down into.

That's kinda what I'm thinking, either build it so that the Yeti sit into it or I may get crazy and bend the tubing to flow the lines and secure it to only one side of the icechest. Similar to the igloo all terrain wheel kit.

I will share my failures with the board so we can all learn from my mistakes. If I can come up with a real design I may have a couple made.

Secure on one side would be good, but I'm thinking ease of taking the Yeti in and out.

hmmm....
