These seem really cool but are extreme overpriced. Anyone have any creative ways to make something like this more affordable? Like maybe ripping apart a dolly and welding a few things?

That thing must be made out of some bad arse shite to hold that heavy arse thing up. You probably can't get material that good.

Are those load range E tires?

They look like the wheels on some OBers trucks. Big rims, small tires.

Classic Yeti. $400 ice chest requires $160 wheels.

Its to the point that I think they are just throwing shite out there to sell knowing all of those pseudo outdoorsmen will buy it.

Wheels and icechest. WTF? I had people bring them on my boat before along with bottle beer. Boats and icechest with wheels and glass never should be mixed.

Really!

Now's not the time to get cheap. You've already invested in that overpriced ice chest. In fact, you should insist on paying Amazon full price for this set of bad arse Badger Wheels©®™

I've debated this myself. I think if you cut the bottom section off of a dolly you could find a way to secure it to the yeti. Then just use the opposite handle to pull with. Similar to this.

Get one of those metal garden carts, they will haul all kind of crap in them and not break after a few uses.

Thanks, finally a useful reply.

And to be fair, I got a yeti for very cheap from a buddy. I'd never pay full price for one.

It's cool to hate on Yeti now. Hell I was doing it years ago too, when I couldn't afford one.
