disagree,oh yes it is. conference champs is an accomplishment. It means a lot more than division champs. you have to win 3 rounds of hockey to be a cup finalist. not so for division champs.

Well it's in the rulebook whether you agree with it or not Downie also has a history of those sorts of penalties so he's not getting away with it

That's not to say the Flyers are perfect by any means -- they take a ton of penalties too, although I'd imagine most of them are because they're a bad team, not a violent one -- but it's pretty clear which team in Pennsylvania is the more violent one here.
It's about time Pittsburgh got off its high horse about the Flyers' violent history and started thinking about the team they're rooting for right now.

I would hope that US hockey would actually take that money Kraft is giving for an upgrade and build a rink somewhere that needs one. Then they can ntroduce the sport in an area where they can develop a legitimate grass root program.

Did they? I had to shut it off, only thing worse than a poorly officiated hockey game is a poorly officiated basketball game.
