Anywhere in baton rouge that would paint a ups box style truck for me?
It's a food truck, and I'd like someone that can do a good job at a fair price.

I don't know if there is such a thing. Paint and body work is $$$. Hopefully somebody knows a guy who knows a guy, probably your best bet.

I'm not looking for an incredible deal, I just need someone that will do a good job.

Id rather get a good rec , than pick some dude out the phone book and get boinked.

Hwy 44 paint and body in gonzales does good work.

I'd call everyone in town and get the best deal. Probably get someone to do it for a decent price if you're just going for basic food truck paint job, not a lot of prep before hand with imperfections.

...that's just a guess.

honestly, I would consider getting a food truck wrapped instead of painted...as long as the body is in pretty good shape, a wrap will look a hell of a lot better than a paint job at a fraction of the cost...

I am not in the br area, but I have had a couple of cargo trailers wrapped recently at work and they came out stunning...

Unless you want a show truck, I'd bring it to Fact-O-Bake. It's still a budget shop, but Gerald, the new owner, is putting out much better work than the previous owner. They paint most of the US Postal trucks around town and equipment for H&E. Have him spray the industrial paint on it for the most durable finish.

Trust me on this. I've been in the paint business for years.

Your next step up at a low price shop would be Bobby Lewis at AAA on Airline.

Other shops listed from other posters are going to give you estestimates close to $9,000 and up.

ETA - Bruno at Burbank Body Shop does good work. Closest to LSU area if that matters

Probably. I've been in it for 20+ years. I haven't been to the past few meetings.

Shop. At one point I was the biggest west of Luke's. We've downsized a lot since removing ourselves from all the DRP's.

The shops listed above may be cheaper but here's another place I know of. Not sure on their prices but maybe worth looking at to get an estimate from. I don't know the name of the place or if it even has a name but if you go down court street in port Allen, coming from la1 take a left heading towards 415 it will be on the left, a little more than half way down right past a little bridge there's a small metal building that a young guy paints in. He does it as a side job but he does very good work. My friend owns a customs shop and sends anything that needs to be painted to this guy.

I have called a couple of times to compliment their painters, but they are definitely not cheap. They are on the high side of the pricing curve, but you get what you pay for

Get a wrap instead of paint. Easier to sell and no body work needed unless it's a big dent
