Any word on the Surface Pro 4 and when it is coming out?

Will it come in two different sizes? Will it be thinner and lighter so that people can use it more like a tablet / iPad replacement? Any chance it comes with Intel's Skylake processors?

That's all I have read about it. Two size options (8" & 13-14") and lighter and thinner due to not needing a fan.

Not sure why, I've got one and it usually lasts me all day, unless I'm doing something graphically or CPU intensive, which will drain any device.

What? It is a tablet and it definitely surpasses an ipad. The only reason for staying with ipad is you're committed to the Apple ecosystem or for specific apps you like/need.

Already conducted beta phasing testing. Most likely after Windows 10 makes its debut since the OS will be running on this platform.

I just got the SP3 and this thing is the shite! Got a great deal on it. i5 128gb for 724! Before taxes.

Same here. I am about to buy one for my wife. Was going with the 128 gb for price purposes. Best deal I found was $899 on a new one. She will likely only be using it for sewing and embroidery stuff. I am going to go ahead and get her the docking station and all the adapters so she can sync it with a 24" monitor and keyboard. Figured i would get her a keyboard to go with the dock. I already have a spare copy of office suite 10 so I can save cash there. Also buying her a powered UsB 3.0 hub.
We have Ipad minis, regular laptops and an HP stream 7. She also has a Macbook Pro. But most of her embroidery stuff is windows based and I am tired of jacking around with Parallels on her Macbook. Also with the tablet she can work her deaigns and save them for use later while we are traveling.
I have hears the wifi is a bit slow. I am about to run some CAt 6 throughout our house for ethernet connections to everything in hopes of dumping Directv, so I am also going to pick up a USB 3.0 ethernet adapter for it. Can anyone tell me what else I may be missing?

I went ahead and purchased the SP3. Should be in on Thursday. Also ordered a docking station and some other goodies to setup a work station for my wife to do her sewing and embroidery.
