Deflategate or Marshawns presser?

I really enjoy sports and listen on the radio a majority of the day at work, but wow these topics are so beat to death that it's really ruining what is usually a fun Super Bowl week.

Title insinuates we are tired of both but you have to pick one.

Marshawn is an idiot.

He's always been an idiot.

The Patriots are cheaters.

They've always cheated, and pretty much get away with.

Neither is really "news", and there's nothing else going. ESPN gotta talk 'bout sumthin. Can't be LeBron ALL the time.

This. I usually ignore the mindless hype leading up to a super bowl but these are getting hard to avoid.

Like I just don't care. I didn't care when the first details of the deflating story came out and I just don't care what Marshawn Lynch says or doesn't say to the media.

I've been doing this thing where I just don't read or talk or bitch about either. It's pretty nice realizing you are allowed to do that.

Football is fine the way it is? The league hasn't pansified the rules? Rules aren't over-enforced both on the field and off the field? You're okay with certain teams being allowed to break the rules just because their owners are tight with the commissioner?

My life has been infinitely more enjoyable sports wise since I stopped watching the majority of sports television and completely avoiding sports radio

Oh the time I wasted watching ESPN talking heads spew on about bullshite as a high schooler...

Only thing I watch now usually outside of live games is all of the old NFL films type stuff on NFL Network. You learn so much more about football than you ever will on ESPNs all day coverage of media day/deflategate/insert topic of the day

Why I listen to podcasts done by people I enjoy and listening to only the local sports radio where some of these topics will only be discussed for like 5 minutes.

By this point in the season, I'm just tired of the NFL as a whole.

The only time i tune in to an espn or nfl network is to watch live airings sports. No pregame or postgame. Everyone should do the same. Force those asswipes to step it up a bit
