...was ranked higher in preseason polls than the football team? 06?

I know BBall started around the top 10 before quickly plummeting but I forget just how high up FBall started. I think it could happen this year depending on where we finish and who comes back. I think FBall will be in the 12-18 range.

The only thing I remember about that season was Tack Minor throwing one up from about 40 feet to end the first half against UConn. Other than that I got nothin.

Yea, the year after our final four (05-06). We had 3 returning starters, but we blew that year. Just horrible.

It's possible. Depends on who stays on how far we go this year. Getting the #1 recruit in the nation is huge.
