The weather outlook for Sunday in Louisiana looks wet and cool.
I'm not making a big deal out of this game because I don't care for either team.
It is however, a good excuse to consume mass quantities. I think I'm going to do hot wings. Some brined and smoked, some fried. I'm trying to cut back, so I won't be having celery with them.
What says the rest of you?

It will either be a beef short rib chili, or wings.
I've never really done wings so I'm leaning that way.

Depending on how big you buy them they can be tricky to cook all the way through with the bone.
I would suggest steaming them first and then frying them. Ensures it is cooked all the way through, tender, and gives great crispy skin.

Nothing set in stone, but probably steaks. It'll depend.
I won't get back to BR until the afternoon, so nothing extremely laborious.
Balls, I want what you're having.

Interesting. May try that next time.
I just keep the skin on and fry for 7 minutes. (Brine first, obviously)

For poultry like turkey and chicken brining is never a bad thing and dont let anyone tell you otherwise.
LL- a buddy of mine showed it to me and they always turn out great. If someone isnt very experienced with frying I always recommend this method since the chicken is basically cooked before you fry it.

FYI
I stopped at the WinnDixie on Siegen Ln in BRLA for the chicken wings. They has 24pk of whole Sanderson wings for about $13 with buy one get one free with the WD rewards card. I got 4 packs for the price of two.
