Well I felt like a sausage, but it's all good. I've put on a good bit of muscle too.

Taking a break from running not by choice but from injury. This terribly sucks. I ran 3 nights in a row-a mile each at low speed/pace it didn't seem that demanding I thought I could handle it but apparently couldn't i jacked my foot up pretty good my ankle still hurts and i have been out for a month. Really hope I get back to normal soon idk what's going on.

Which is funny, because I would like to be that lean sort of strong but I don't think that's in the cards.

Haha.
Well I want to get into skydiving, rock climbing, kayaking and all that jazz. Being a big guy doesn't benefit me in those situations.

I limp around sore all day today and most of tomorrow despite doing this for about 1 year.
Looks like youre doing 30 sets. That could be why youre sore. Wayyyyyyyy overkill.

I've been doing the Body by Science workout for the last four weeks, and it has been great for me. In the past I've done most of the beach body workouts (p90x, insantiy, T25, etc) but sometime mid 2014 I started developing mild to severe back pain. It pretty much stopped any real exercise I was doing, and with a toddler and a new born I just simply didn't have the energy and time to devote myself to a full blown workout program.
Since I've started the Body by Science workout, my back pain has evaporated, I've lost about 6 lbs and a few inches off my waist, and my results have improved each week. I was skeptical of the workout at first, since it's main premise is only working out once a week for 10-15 minutes, but I've come to dread those 10-15 minutes and can't argue with the results so far.

100% of max is 100% of what my max is to get close to 10. Not max for a single rep. I don't ever do 100% single rep max. I'm too old for that. My tendons would instantaneously rupture.
Entire workout takes about an hour for lifting.
I do all the other body parts similarly and don't get too sore. Just legs.

Just added all this up for you. (assuming you drink water all day and arent getting calories from beverages)
863- calories
28g- carbs
21g- fat
138g- protein
That is not healthy man. Not even close. You should be eating at least double this, maybe even 2.5x that much food as an active male. It's great that you are taking initiative and are enthused about lifting and getting fit but you need to seriously bump those calories and that fat/carb intake up. Im surprised you dont feel horrible.

Great job wildtigercat, when losing weight try to still aim
for high weight low reps at least some of the time to help keep your strength and muscle mass through the day burning.

What dnm said.
You'll lose weight like this, yes, but not in a healthy way. You need alot more calories. Slower and steady weight loss is healthier, easier, more sustainable, and makes you look better. I don't know what you weigh but if you exercise regularly, you probably need at least 1800-2000 calories.
