I thought I would start a fitness thread in the spirit of OleYeller's post from yesterday on why we can't have a Fitness Board. I've found some of the recent workout threads helpful and thought it might be good to just have a daily thread where people can come in and post whatever they want about fitness. So, I'm starting today's and maybe we can just keep it going.

I got in twenty minutes on stationary bike and twenty minutes of circuit training this morning. I'm currently 6'5" and 240 lbs. Trying to cut some fat and get down to around 230 over time. I was around 220 but gained some weight after my second kid was born. I used to run a lot of long distance. Now I'm spending some more time in the weight room since I don't have the time or the freedom to do all the running I used to.

What have y'all got going today? Cheers

What type of whey are y'all taking? I was taking muscle milk as a post-workout supplement, but a buddy of mine told me that's trash. Said I needed to get at least some whey isolate.

Muscle Milk is terrible.
Loaded with additives and sugar, also very high in certain vitamins that store as fat.
Also heard that drinking too much can cause kidney stones
Whey Isolate is the way to go. I prefer Isopure
