I'm coming around to this more and more. Apparently his HS coach isn't helping his motivation either.

I read a few more of the coaches comments....dude doesn't seem very sharp.

If they were so dedicated to AJ, and were reluctant to change, why in the hell did they play and start Harris? I swear our fans are just blind because the hatred of Miles.

Maybe because he gave him a whopping 1 half against Auburn and we basically never saw him again the rest of the season after looking like the best QB the first half of the season?

I'm sorry, but if you think Brandon Harris' development this year was anything short of a disaster I don't know what to tell you. Every coach has faults, and Miles' is most certainly 100% QB management/development. He just sucks at it. There was absolutely no reason to have Harris on such a short leash meanwhile Jennings gets to look like a complete trainwreck and continue to play over and over and over.

This being said, Harris' coach has no place to post on social media he tried to get Harris out of LSU. That is something you keep private, retard.

apparently some people on this board think "development" means "playing time".

predictably poor

I don't think anyone predicted he would screw up multiple handoffs and snaps because he was so rattled, and that's not even mentioning overthrowing every pass...even the simple ones that were designed to get him comfortable.

Not saying it wasn't, but if you can unequivocally tell me Harris was better than Jennings then you have no idea what you're talking about.

I'm amazed when people on here honestly believe they know who the best QB is on the team and who should be starting. Do we really have to pull out the list of named QB's that Cam Cameron has coached? Les even knows what a good QB looks like. He has even coached guys that were smart like Flynn and not smart like Russell. They know what they are doing and if Harris isn't starting, there is a good reason.

I listened to the whole interview on the radio this morning, along with several other NWLA coaches. None of them are very bright but Feaster's comments were just asinine. He called BH the best QB in the country, twice I think.

You mean the 42 hours that actually matter? He can be a practice MVP and the coaches could love his hard work and dedication, but if it doesn't translate to the field then what more do you really need to see? Brandon just wasn't ready last year and Jennings was a life boat. This year he will be ready...hopefully.

I don't hate Miles. In fact, I like the guy. But I do think he handled the QB situation very poorly this year. You're telling me that giving a true freshman his first start on the road at Auburn and letting him play a half is a fair shot? And then looking at the product AJ put out the rest of the year and doing nothing about it was fair too?

your post is poor. he played into the fourth quarter and was pulled due to injury, not performance.

He also got the half against sam houston state at home, the forth quarter of miss state at home. when do you start him?

And in practice, when Jennings as we all know was getting the majority of the snaps with the 1's. This isn't a hard concept, we just completely wasted Harris the 2nd half of the season. It's like they wanted to keep him off the field at all costs until the very last second (see UK game). The UK game tells me all I need to know about how they "attempted" to develop Harris after the AU game. It was ALL about Jennings no matter what and they didn't care what happened.

There is no logical explanation to see Harris disappear after the way he played the first half of the season compared to Jennings who was still a trainwreck over and over and over. Get out.

Well, where there is smoke there is fire..if Les sticks with AN, BH is not going to stick around, imo

That's why you wait to announce the starter at the end August, when it's too late for BH to transfer.

He did. He played better than Harris in about 3 of the 5 games that they played together.

Yep, I knew that the coaches were seeing great things in practice at the MLB position for a year and a half. They definitely nailed that one.

This is the same coach that was responsible for Harris being extremely unprepared heading into college?

Thats the problem though, most of our genius fans think they know more than the guys who get paid to do that. And its not just us, its all fans and I know this, but it continues to irritate me.

His opinions mean absolutely dick. His job is to support his player, that's all. If Brandon wants to transfer support him. If he wants to stay at LSU, support him.

"So what play do you want to run? Whatever it is, i support you. Do you wanna do sprints at practice today? No? I support you."

Just screwing with you, but lack of opinions is absolutely not what a coaches job is. Also, who says hes not supporting Brandon regardless?

Les should really consider removing himself from any QB decisions in the future

If you dont prepare during the week, the coaches arent going to give you a shot. Plain and simple.

Yeah, and that reasons are that Miles hates the fan base and only wants to run the ball/lose games. Am I doing this right?
