Knee problems have returned I had a mri and xray at ochsner in new Orleans in December and I have decided to get a second opinion. I would like a orthopedic that specializes (BR area) in the knee. Thanks.

If his initials are NL, run, not walk, the other way.

I think all orthopedics are specialized in the knee FWIW.

They may be able to do the knee but aren't specialist.

Banks ton, Rodriquez both do knees only.

You realize orthopedics are bone doctors not just knee doctors right?

Oh so his partner Dr Winder just sucks? Don't be a tard. Those guys at the BR Ortho Clinic are all good.

Exactly. Call them up and get in with Winder and you won't be disappointed whether it's a scope or a replacement.

I'm not big on medical malpractice but sued him and won several years back for really screwing up a little girl's arm so bad she had to have a cadaver bone grafted in to fix his mess up.

I second Winder or Bankston. I know several people who have procedures done by both. All good.

If Winder is good enough for the LSU football team then I think you are in good hands.

I always light up when we see him on sidelines on TV and brag "That's MY doctor!!"

He's scoped two knees and one elbow on me. And did replacements on relative.

Come back to New Orleans and go to Tim Finney at Southern Orthopedics. One of the best I can promise you that.

NL recommended I get an MRI due to chronic knee pain. He knew I had reconstructive knee surgery from a high school football injury. He diagnosed me with a torn meniscus and advises surgery. After surgery he says the meniscus had been taken out with the reconstruction, so oops! He said he was able to smoth out some Spurs where bone on bone was occurring. How do you miss a missing meniscus with a $1400 MRI? What a quack.

Well, in all fairness, how do you not know your meniscus had been removed? How was that not noted in your chart?

And yes, how does that moron not know it's gone?
