And not next year, because I want to be a part of this monumental game next year......

I'm gonna hang on the fact that I think this last season will end up being a huge lesson in humility for the entire team....and become the fuel and inspiration for next year.

I fricking Love The Saints!!

One thing about the Saints is that you don't want them be a favorite. We do much better when no one expects us to do much.

But why couldn't we have played in both?

I hope so. I still losing guys like Vilma, Smith, Jenkins, and Harper had a much bigger impact than any of us really thought. Obviously we weren't concerned with losing their on field productivity (or lack of it) but clearly their leadership on the defense meant more than I gave it credit for. Hopefully some of the guys learned some humility, like you say,and are ready to step in and take that role

As long as Mike Greenberg does not pick us to go to the SB50 we will be OK!

And why did NFL drop the big L for SB50?

Could have been a great cross-over opportunity for ol Rog!
A chance to reach out and expand the shields audience.

The Saints will be picked to go 8-8 or 9-7. Drew Brees is too old, the Saints are finished.

They'll then stick their dick in the NFL and go 13-3.

The first part is 100% true... hell I bet even the majority of posters on this board will say that.

Hope you're right about the second part. I think you are. I'm hoping for some eye opening off season moves that make some of the more complacent under-performing guys on this team sit up and say, shite, I'd better play my arse off.

And if friggin Gallete or Cam come at us with any of that "league of shadows" crap again....

Wow. Well the off season will let us know if this team is ready to win again. If brees restructures so we have more cap space to upgrade positions of need. Then I'll have hope. But he want and the Saints will be a below .500 team. Sorry friend but the run is over.

My goat name is better than yours. Suck it lol. And no I gave an example of what needs to happen to show the team truly cares about winning. Then I'm giving you my opinion of what will happen. Come on baw.

I give Drew not restructuring a 1% chance.

He knows he's the leader of the team. He will set a example and get it done.

Why wouldn't he wasn't too restructure?

He's hopefully going to get an extension this off season too
